why am i even trying? it's not like i have a single follower....

So today i got bored, and decided to play with my makeup. I was flipping through an old mark. cosmetics catalogue when i came across an "In for spring" tutorial thing.
I decided i would [attempt to] replicate the look. The problems:
1) she is quite a bit darker than me
2) i didn't have all of the products

The tutorial said i needed:
-bronze pro bronzer
-i-mark eyeshadows in magic, and tiki
-eyemarker eyeliner in jet (black)
-make it big mascara in raven
-good glowing mosaic blush in sandy
-gloss gorgeous lipgloss in bare

I had everything but the bronzer, mascara, blush, and lip gloss, but i had other similar mark. products.
here's my attempt. *just a note, the all over shade is actually quite dark, so for fairer skin tones i would recommend something lighter, like fairy dust or any light, shimmery brown-ish color.

so here's what i came up with:

i like this look but in the future, i think i will use a lighter color all over the lid instead of magic.

so that's all for now, i will [possibly] keep you posted...

Sally's Beauty, Rexall (lessthan3 ;D), Walmart,and Ulta HAUL!

So i recently went to the states to shopping ( I live in a canadian border city so i dont get to haul much cos everything is SOOOOO expensive :/) and i legit JUST got home from Rexall (another canadian drug store :D) and they had a sale on NYX so i bought stuff. ANyways As the name suggests, i went to Sally's Buety Supply, Rexall (my LOVE), and Ulta. And i hauled like it was nobody's business!

Sally's Beauty:

So there IS (!) a Sally's in my town. But they carry none of the Sally Girl stuff that i WANT! Unless they have some now, because i havnt been there for a while...

But anyways, i went there to get some common glitter liner stupplies, and one of my *FAVORITE (!)* beauty gurus on youtube, vintageortacky, said in a Glitter Liner How To video to get this 99 cent (!) gell adheisive to mix with your glitter that worked super well, and if you didn't have much glitter, Sally Girl had their own for 99 cents as well.
[video here to see the video (click the word here]
So anyways i went there. And i got the last gel adheisive thinggy mabob, and three glitters. I got 'Silver Lining', 'Blue Lagoon', and 'Gold Digger'. The silver and gold are simply gold glitter and silver glitter. But the blue! It is light blue, with pink and green flecks. Its beautiful.
Pics Below:

Ulta!

So i went to Ulta, and i got Two Nyz Jumbo Eye Pencils in Milk (:D)
and also a Studio Gear Eye Primer In Natural.
[The primer will be included in an upcoming Primer Test...]
I LOVE THE EYE PENCILS WITH A PASSION
and i wnt say anything about the primer because i want it to be a surprise for next week.( Theres a PA day at school, and i have 3 primers to test and review so im witing for that...)

Anyways, its all great!

Random Nail Store
I got Lincoln Park After Dark (NON MATTE)
By OPI.
So happy about that one. Its an almost black purple. That's how i describe it!

At Walmart I bought a Hard Candy In The Shadows Eye Pallete. It came with a mini primer (ALSO IN THE TEST/REVIEW) I got it in 026 Gamble. I am going back for more, because i LOVE it!!

The colors look alot darker than they are in real life ;)

Rexall (L)
So i went to Rexall, partially unwillingly (lobng story, don't ask) And i knew they were the *ONLY* franchise that sells NYX Cosmetics in my town, and because of that, they enjoy upping the price of EVERYTHING! The 1 or 2 dollar Loose Pearl thinggies are FIVE DOLLARS PLUS TAX!!!!!! But they had a sale today! It was buy two Jumbo Pencils (EYE OR LIP) Get one free, eyeliners for 3.99, and an Ultra Loose Mania eyeshadow free with any NYX Purchase. There were some other things, but none that caught my eye.
So naturally, i bought some stuff.
I bought :
A Jumbo Eye Pencil In Black Bean.
A Jumbo Eye Pencil in Dark Brown.
and Free, A Jumbo Eye Pencil In Purple.
also free, An Ultra Loose Mania Eyeshadow in Baby Pink.
THe thing about the purple is that it looks navy blue in the tube. But when you swatch/apply it, it shows upa deep bluey purple. Kind of indigo ish. Love it.

So yeah, thats all for my haul!
Talk to you next post...@
Bye

NYX!A wet waterline, who would have thought?

I don't know if anyone else has the same problem, but my waterline is actually quite wet. Because of this, even the Urban Decay 24/7 liners don't work on my waterline. Mac ones don't work either. Drugstore ones haven't worked but i have only tried a couple. So far there are only two that work. Mark. Eyemarker Color On The Line Eyeliner [that's legit the real name ;)](ask your Avon Rep if they sell Mar. Cosmetics! They are great!) and, surprisingly, Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencils.
I have nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk, and it is amazing. It works very well as a base, and as i just discovered, great for a watery waterline. So I'm super excited! I'm just assuming that its the creamy textures of both products is what's working...
So gel liners would probably work, and anything else thats really creamy...
I heard the normal nyx liners are smooth and creamy so i'll give those a shot once i save up some haulage money!

thats all for now!
